i ordered 22 females and 2 are supposed to be golden laced wyandottes.... they are from mypetchicken and they are mutts but i am guessing male at 4 weeks.. these are my first golden so i have no idea if they grow wattles and combs fast. boy or girl at 4 1/2 weeks?

That's a boy, but mistakes are common with any chicks that need to be vent sexed.

My SLW looked like this at the same age. I'm waiting to see if I have 4 roo's and 1 pullet instead of 5 pullets (what DH thought when he bought them at the feedstore).

The pullet has a regular comb.

Definately a roo there. I got 3 GLW from MPC (sexed, pullets) they are 6 weeks old now and none of them have as much comb as that one (or wattles, or as much red as that one has)
