Did I get some Splashes? *Pics*

I love my Splash Cochin, thats why I was really hoping for some Splash Ameraucanas. Now I can't wait til they get all their feathers lol.

What do you cross to get a splash cochin? Blue and white or what? I'm confused with the genetics stuff?

We have 5 Blue Cochin's this year but also have Partidge,White, and Buff but really wanted a splash! Was hoping to get one next spring from our girls. Darn!

Yep. You got it right. Now one of my splashes early on feathered in blue so you never can tell about some of those darker splashes early on.

JessaLynn...good job explaining the blues %. I found an article one time with pictures of each scenario that finally took all of my worries away. They used a male x female = formula and then colored in the six chicks in the %. Wow. That chart did wonders for me. I think it was in one of the 2009 poultry mags but I cannot remember which one it was regarding Andalusians. I started bbs's last spring in the silkies and now orps, ameraucanas, etc. I am hooked on blues!
