yes i have heard of the tie cords and seen them in some feed and supply catalogs. usually a southern thing to tie out your chicken. it goes on one leg like a leash. good for roosters to keep from fighting and allowing them to feed and graze. i have seen them on animal cops houston for cock fighting. i have never used myself only seen.
