Did I kill my chick????

We used tweezers to pick off some of the shell. We peeled back a bit of membrane and that's when the chick started bleeding a little. Thankfully, the chick could still breathe, and we were able to control and stop the bleeding. The good thing was that the membrane was still round like the egg. We gently sprayed down the membrane with warm water to soften it, then immediately placed the egg back inside the incubator. The chick is squirming around in its egg and chirping, and there is a hole in the membrane that's big enough for it to breathe through. Fingers crossed that it makes it! 🤞 🤞 🤞
