Did I mess up?

You sounded a little uncertain at first; just a touch of buyer's remorse. But, you sound much more confident about the wisdom of your decision today. Glad to hear it. Like I said, the value of the salvage alone was worth the effort.

Glad you're happy. I think it's going to be great! Very wise move.

I was very uncertain of my choice...Mainly because of it being so old and heavy,,wasn't sure how it would hold up to the move, it was only about 15 miles but this is back roads that are very rough and bumpy....It held up well, 1 broken board on floor and 1 on front by the window, and with the shifting of the one corner we are gonna go ahead and redo the roof just in case...I will not have time to work on it this week so I cleaned out all of the old shavings and sprayed everything down with disinfectant, will go in mid week and spread a layer of de......hubby wants everything on paper that i am trying to build into it so I am thinking of putting a poop board under roost with pdz in it, I allready use this in the meat bird house and it works great there....keeping track of cost just to be curious as to what it is gonna cost to bring this back to life.

work on the coop has come to a halt ..It has been cleaned and disinfected, moved to its final location......Then i suddenly found myself with some broodies,,, had to seperate them since some were about to hatch and the other birds just would not let momma be,,,,so i now have 2 broodies, and 1 new momma with 3 chicks in the new coop....work will have to wait till the babies get a little older.
