Did I really buy a flock of roos?

Ok I've already had one accidental roo, but now some lady on a local chicken swap is telling me pretty much all of my birds are Roos

The red ones look like roos but that dark one....is that a black sex link? Looks like a pullet to me, because my black sexlink looked like that at that age.

Thats a bummer! but im gonna say pullet for the dark one. 2 of the red ones look like cockerels, but in that 1st pick the ones head is kinda turned so i cant see its comb very well.

Any idea how old they are? If they are near laying age they will have big red combs and wattles. None of your birds are showing any rooster feathering. I'd say the red ones are production reds so girls for sure (boys would be mostly white with just a bit of red) and they are bred to start laying early, at about 4 months old. They should lay lots of eggs for you.

I bought them May 21st, and to be honest I really can't remember how old they were but here is a pic of the day we got them
