Correct. If it's a red sex link then the females are always a red in color and the males always a white in color.
Do you know if that is a sex link for sure because even at birth the color difference is obvious so I always thought ordering or buying a sex link was pretty much a sure thing?
I ordered 10 females from purely poultry. Two have turned out to be roosters, the red sex-link and one araucana that started crowing at 8 weeks. They are about 12 weeks now.
thats a cockerel...did they send extras?? if they did then you can almost 100% count on those being males although they do sometimes send females by mistake as extras
