Did the USPS stop scanning packages?

Thanks, and well said, Wifezilla. It's easy to brand any company as giving bad service once. Communication is key.

I used to work for a company that primarily used UPS for shipping. I was a vendor contact, and the company I worked for was a drop ship company. I did a lot of tracking and claims with UPS on damaged/lost merchandise. At one time, I was getting terrible service on claims that I had for the damaged/lost merchandise. I started complaining and went right up their corporate ladder with my complaints. It worked. I don't even remember now what exactly the issue was. I did notice some changes the UPS made on how the claims were followed up on, and it really helped.

Happy ending.

You don't think they've been contacted after the service we've received?! LOL

We don't sit twiddling our thumbs waiting months for packages that in some cases we have paid for overnight shipping on (and no they will not refund the shipping charges).

Your local service may be good, ours is a disgrace mostly due to our remote location. As I said previously, packages can travel across the country quickly but as soon as they get to the depot for delivery all hell breaks loose.

They know full well there is an issue, they have been told point blank on numerous occasions that we will not buy items that we know will be shipped FedEx. The problem occurs when we find out after purchasing that the company uses FedEx, and that is rarely when we forget to ask. Not the greatest track record when they can't deliver fewer than 10 packages successfully per year.
