I have a DIY incubator- a plastic tub with a heating pad and a small towel over the eggs. Three of my eggs made it to today, which is pipping day. They were not pipping, so I started to get worried. I eventually opened the incubator to find that the temp was well over 100 degrees Farenheit. I candled the eggs and didnt see any movement. Is there any chance my chicks could still hatch? 😭😭 Please help...

What was the temp, and how long was it that way? Today is day 21? I'm sorry it's not going well. When was the last time you candled and saw movement? Really all you can do at this point is get the temp back down, and carry on as normal. My fingers are crossed for you!

The temp was around 110 degrees, but I dont think it was like that for very long. Today is day 20. The last time I candled the eggs it was day 18, and I did see movement.

If it was like that for under 2 hours I would think that you'll still have some hatch. The inside of the egg takes a while to cool down or heat up. Fingers crossed!
