This egg has been in for about a week, but I only see one vein. Is it a quitter?

From that pic it does look like a blood ring but at only around 7 days you may want to check again in a day or two. But I do think you spotted a quitter.

Ok, I will leave it in for a few more days and if there is no more growth I will throw it out

Yea. I ended up pulling 3 out of a serama nest. 2 are a week into it and the third one should be hatching any time now
