That chickens LOVE to peck at freckles? As a redhead with thousands of freckles, I can say, with the utmost assurance, that chickens can be a real pain in the ... well, not ass exactly because I do wear clucker clothes to the coop, but at the very least a pain in the arms, legs, toes, neck, hair, etc. It’s too hot here in Southern Ohio to wear long sleeves and pants, so I’ve been running through a lot of soap and water after playtime with the chicks.

FYI, the little peckerheads also love tie dye!! Who knew?

I know it seems fun to let them fly into you, but it’s like letting the dog jump up and lick you... if you let them it will be a habit . I really don’t let my birds use me like a piece of furniture.... I do enjoy them immensely, but I am not a chicken

It would be easier to list what they don't peck at.
Here's my list....

2.
3.
Ya couldn't think of anything.
Sometimes it seems like there's no place they won't put it but that's what happens when something has a pecker.

Watch as they often will go for eyes too
I got pecked in the eye. It started to burn and tearing within a couple of minutes.
I washed it under running water a few minutes. I also had a bottle of eye wash with eye cap.
Several times a day of using the eye wash and the burning stopped after two days.
I learned my lesson. GC
