I don't have pics yet.
Our newest chicks are about 6 weeks old.
One was supposed to be a RIR and one was supposed to be a SLW.
The SLW is mostly white, with some of the characteristic SLW coloring on the head, neck, and tail feathers. The rest is mostly white. She has very green legs. And little bumps emerging where spurs would be. But she has rounded, not pointed, saddle feathers. Her just-emerging comb looks the same way our 1 year old SLWs did at this age. And very red.
Our other mystery girl is supposed to be a RIR but her "red" is more like the color of a BO, with a whole lot of white mixed in, almost in a barred pattern over the wings. Her legs are also very green. She has a regular comb beginning to emerge and it's a pale color.
Without pics (sorry!), what's your guess at what we got?
