We are building a coop for the first time this year. Read about all the predators, including possums. We were checking out the back yard, spotted a big ole possum. Had to think what he would do to our hens, so I took him out. Those things really are stupid, didn't even try to get away from me. Kicked him a few times, then the pitch fork finished him off.
