i just found one of my 7wk old Pearl Guinea laying in the cage. Her head is lowing n shes clearly dieing. Should i clean the cage so the other fowl hopefully doesnt get sick? i seperated her i think im gonna snap the neck to put her out it clear she not well.

I just realized I spelled dying wrong. I cleaned the cage n I can't kill her I can't seem to do it.:( she's lying on a towel in a plastic tub.

Sorry about your guinea Lynette. That's so sad. Are there any other symptoms? Was she acting funny before? How long, etc? The odds are against her getting better, but there's always hope!

I noticed 2 days ago that someone had loose stool but i couldnt c who it was. I found her laying in the corner this morning. She didnt even fight me when i picked her up. Usually they scratch the dickens outta me i have scratches all over my arms from those Guineas!. I gave her water through a syringe but she got worse throughout the day. She wasnt even lifting her head so i decided to have my husband put her down. i made him shoot her i couldnt..

If your birds have access to a compost pile you may want to double check for things in it that could be toxic to them. Also, fertilizers, bug and snail/slug baits are used a lot this time of year, maybe she got into something like that?
Sorry for your loss.
