diff colored eggs from same chicken??

the first gray egg I ever saw was at a farm. I bought the egg and tried to hatch it. It didn't hatch but it did change my life.

Trade you pinkish purple eggs for a green/blue egg lol. If you believe this is photoshoped I can send you a video of it changing color

from the same hen. Diff temperatures of eggs. Green one is cold blue is fresh and warm

No they won't change egg colors.  The eggs they lay may vary in darkness or vibrancy of color, depending upon what point of their laying cycle they are at.  For example, a marans may start their laying cycle with a deep chocolate egg that lightens progressively through the cycle, until they take a break.  Then the eggs start back at the darkest color.  But a chicken that lays a brown egg will not suddenly lay a white or green egg one day.  The egg color is coded in their genes.

I think my same hen that laid these front 2 eggs also laid

thse front 2 eggs. It would be nice if they were diff chickens though.

That grey egg is so cool. What breed lays it? Are they fertile and could you send me some

Thanks my roos are not fertile yet. and There would be no promise the off spring would lay that color. it is a Blue splash frizzle with blue egg gene, with a smooth blue splash with dark pink egg gene.

My goal is to get a next gen started to see if they can carry the gray color along. of course if you want to experiment when they become fertile I will put out the word. I am going to do a lot of hatching on my own, and there will be a short list.
