Differance btw EE's and Americaunas

IMO, as long as they have all the traits of Ameraucanas (slate legs, pea comb, blue eggs, muffs & beard) you could rightfully call them "AOV" or "Mixed Variety" Ameraucanas -- as long as they breed true for these traits and you're sure they don't carry genes for other traits -- say, other comb types or leg colors. I know that my Araucanas, even if they're not a recognized color variety, can still be entered in show as "AOV" (All Other Varieties) if they have all the right breed traits (rumpless, tufts, pea comb, blue eggs, and willow legs).

And that's my 2 cents, for what it's worth.

Thanks Anne

That is the most logical answer I have received.
I have about 80 "youngsters" of the mixed variety right now, just waiting to see how many roos I have so I can put them into a rooster pen until my girls are old enough to breed.
