difference between day old chicks

the orange one is so baldy and the black one is very fluffy..what could be the reason to their difference? could it be their parents genes or some malnutrition issues?

The darker one looks older than day old... just from the pic
Maybe different breeds? Just guessing. There doesn't from what I can see in the picture seem to be anything worrisome about the lighter one though

the dark one is the normal coturnix colour with the pharoah and the lighter one is her parents is the first photo and the darker one parents is the second photo

Alright do there a mix, I wouldn’t eirry about it to much unless she continues to not gain weight, probably just a mixed breed thing. Good luck, Avery

Yeah. Mixed breeds are unpredictable sometimes. Looking at the other to pics of the parents. Think it's more of a breed thing. I wouldn't be too worried but maybe just monitor the food intake and weight
 
And didn't notice till I saw the parents pics that they are quail not chicken. I feel silly. I don't own any quail (but recently interested ) The dark ones are beautiful!!
