Difference between Dominiques and Barred Rocks?

I'm getting ready to buy a few chicks to start a small (3-5) flock. I've had Barred Rocks in the past and love love LOVED them! Very sweet and tame, great egg layers, and very hardy with both heat and cold! However, before I go out and by the chicks I would like to hear some personal opinions on the Dominique breed. I understand most of the physical differences as far as size and plumage go, but what about personality and egg production, (size, color, frequency). They seem to be a little more uncommon around here so if they have alot of the same characteristics of the Barred Rocks I'd like to give them a try instead

Thank you for the link, but I'm looking for more of a personality and egg comparison. Best given by people who have had experience with both breeds of course

If you are going to get them from a hatchery about the only thing you are going to see different between the two is the comb..

My Dominiques tend to be a little more cold hardy, more egg productive and smaller in size than my Rocks but I like the cleaner barring on my Barred Rocks better than the barring of my Dominiques.
