Difference between Message and Label

When making a bookmark, what's the difference between a message and a label?

I'm not entirely sure, but you can search your bookmarks by label. Maybe it helps organize? On message, you can leave a little note to remind yourself why you bookmarked it. If you don't write a message, it will just include the beginning of the post or article. (See the article on the bottom of my bookmark list.)
