Difference between Silkie and Showgirl?

How do I get in on this?! I love the showgirls. I know it takes generations to get them looking as good as the ones shown on this thread, but could us lowly beginners with patience just start off with a turken and a silkie and continue breeding the subsequent offspring to get the best quality?

Or, is there anyone in WA state who has a showgirl they'd be willing to sell? If so, how much?

Yep you can breed them together, take the offspring and breed it with a silkie, and keep breeding in that order.

Just buy some eggs and hatch them oout! I have 3 and silkie that hatched this week.And last fall I hatched out 1 he is a roo.He just started crowing.He is very handsome I call him Frodo
