I guess I have a pair of pictures to contribute to the thread, showing a rumpless Araucana booty and also ear tufts.

where did you get a splash EE?

Mine came from Mypetchicken.com -- The standard size splash came in an order 2 years ago and the bantam splash was in my order this last summer (my first order of bantam Easter Eggers). I received a mix of colors both times.

What color variety is that hen? Very pretty, I have three EE hens that have that coloration.

A nonstandard color?

I honestly have no clue what it is called. But I do love this Araucana hen, even if her color isn't an accepted one. She has perfect ear tufts, a great rumpless booty, willow legs, and is sweet to boot.

Wondering if too early to try and guess the sex of my lavender ameraucana baby..a pic of some of the crowd when small, and then I took some of one today. :)

No one?? Any guess?

Hey Stacie..I just got 24 Araucana eggs today. So excited, maybe with that many I'll get some to hatch, understand they can be hard to hatch? I usually do pretty good with hatches. I'm excited to see what I get. I've been wanting Araucanas' for a long time! Love your birds..I want one with the bunt butt and the tufts..crossing fingers for that to happen.

At 5 weeks, comb differences will spring up, but 3 months is when beginnings of saddle and wingbow male characteristics start to spring up.
