Just a quick question for all you chicken experts. Can I put my 1 1/2 month old hens in with my 3 month old hens ? This is my first time raising chickens and I don't want the wifes chickens to get killed or I might be next lol. Thanks for any advice

Put them in a coop/pen where they can see each other and socialize through a partition (meet and greet) for a couple of weeks. The closer in size they are the easier the transition. Good Luck!

I had mine in viewing distance of each other for about 2 weeks before they were in together. They were about 6 weeks and 10 weeks when I finally let them in together. They do again. The older ones pick on the younger ones, but no bloodshed.

Thanks for the heads up!the older ones come to visit them every day they actually seem curious about them.the younger ones are in the garage in a pen and my others come by them 2-3 times a day to check them out and scratch around their pen just wondering if that counts
