Ok so my this past Wednesday I received 15 Jumbo Cornish and 15 Red Ranger chicks. Due to some postal delay issues I had 10 die in 24 hours. The hatchery has been great and will be shipping out replacement chicks on Monday. Since I only built two chicken tractors I have a question. Can I add the younger birds to the tractors when they are age appropriate? If not since there are only 10 coming (a few of each type) can I put them in a separate tractor with both breeds? Thanks for any help.

Since they'll only be a week apart in age, I think you can put them together when they're a few days old. Just mobile enough to get away if hassled. They take on siblings pretty easily at that age. Actually anytime up to about 3 weeks or so. The more space the better also.
