Different aged chickens using different feed

I have a 6 month old hen eating layer feed,
And 10, 2.5 old pullets eating starter/grower feed.
I have been integrating them in the coop but have been seperated. Today is the first day/night they will all be in the coop together.
My question is, what do I do about the different food? Im assuming they will eat each others , is that okay?

Put them all on an all flock grower type feed and offer oyster shell separately.

Just give all of them the grower feed. As long as your laying hen has oyster shell she will be just fine with the grower until the others are old enough for it. Layer feed can interfere with the growth of young chickens from what I have read.

Are the 6 month olds actually laying? Switching to layer feed before laying can actually delay laying.

Either way, I would probably feed them all the grower and keep oyster shell on the side.
