Different ages

I have 11 chicks that are about 5 or 6 weeks old and two that are 2 1/2 weeks old. The young ones ive been keeping in the house. They are different in size so i was wondering when would it be ok to put them together?

You can try, but in my experiences the little ones will be pecked and harassed. I would pen them next to each other but wait until the younger ones are a few weeks older before trying to mingle them.

In my experience the younger they are introduced the more accepting they are. Although mine are Broody Raised so Momma protects them and then the other older chicks take on the role as babysitters..
All you can do is try to introduce them..
