Today, Thelma, my 11 week old Delaware pullet, followed me around all day and clucked (in her most mature pre-teen/teen voice). When she was not doing this, she was picking fights with her hatchmates. Then she'd go back to following me around and clucking. Is this her getting her hen hormones? (They are all as tall as my RIR or close to, but much lighter in weight. Amazing how fast they grow!)

I've noticed also the one roo with a larger comb has made attempts at romance.

* Eleven weeks seems pretty young to me, but what do I know?? My girl's 'maturity' got thrown all outta whack by a possum assault! This'll give you a bump to find out, tho!

(OMG!!! Thought I'd finally fixed this!! Frack.)
