different breeds of ducks for friends?

how do different breeds interact?(forgive my ignorance). I currently have 3 male pekins(trying to place 2 of them) and 1 female.only 1 drake is with the girl. if I were to introduce females of another breed would that possibly create more peace amongst the boys? can't seem to find female pekins and it was suggested a different breed but.... be honest PLEASE.

A duck is a duck and all ducks... Well you get the picture. Bred or even species does not matter to a drake, lol. Just pick out some new hens and you should be fine. I have three drakes and 8 hens right now and have only minimal squabbles when one drake goes after the favorite of another. More hens will definantly settle it - unless you have one male who wants them all. Then its best to either keep the others and get rid of the duck hog or get rid of all the others and keep the duck hog

I THOUGHT so but have ONLY owned pekins in the past and there are many mixes, I know. just didn't know if it was an oddity when 2 different breeds bred or a common thing.(am NOT breeding though!)now to find females ANYWHERE near me. seems like a lot of people have the same problem. easy to place girls but drakes........ thanks!
