Granny's gone and done it again

I would. :hmm I had soup and sandwich
I ended up checking my freezer and remembering I have frozen chicken tenders and ground beef in there!!!!!!!! I am now having chicken tenders. Hahahaha

She hastily yelled, HUSBAND IS DYING and the way he was still screaming the cop believed her. He ran in for her, got ER personnel moving and told her not to do that again. Call for help before setting out. She had a good laugh about it and the way she told the story we were all laughing. Even her husband.
Poor guy, sounds really painful! Glad that had a happy ending and the cop was sensible!

hurried in and she had somehow gotten herself on her back and couldn't get upright. She was yelling HURRY UP AND HELP ME! at me. I got her sunny side up and made her comfortable. Hand fed her some scrambled egg and bread. Guess I'm going to make her a chicken sling and try to get her out in the coop with my other disabled birds. Told my husband that now he knew why I said that I couldn't put this one down. She's more than a chicken. She's a pet.
So neat she talks to you! My dogs talk to me, more with facial expression and body language than vocals, but I get it. This one is special. If you do tattoos, you'll need one of her footprints across your heart. ❤️

LOL Funny story.
MC sounds like a wonderful day to me.
Can you take your little chicken indoors or does that cross your line?
No, I've raised more than one batch of chicks in the bathroom so that line is really foggy, lol. I had her in my feed room which is connected to the shop which is connected to the house so technically she was sorta kinda in the house.

I moved her out to a coop with my little special needs rooster, Joker, Her daughter or mother (they are identical and act like clones) and a little silver duck wing hen who are keeping Joker company. I set up the sling in a wire cage. She isn't thrilled about it, but I think that if she is going to die, she would be happier doing it with her flock.

Yeah, I do tattoos. Only have one, a native American one, two eagle feathers bound together with a leather thong and beads on my right shoulder blade. The two feathers stand for the healing arts, one for him, one for me, the thong tying the two feathers together is our marriage and the beads when you count them, is our wedding date. I designed it myself.

Lord, if I did one like that I'd have to have a huge heart with every dog, cat and chicken I've lost foot prints on it...I'm just an itty bitty little thing, lol. But our dogs do the same thing. This little hen is the first one to actually 'talk' to me and took me completely by surprise. I'm going to miss her when she is gone.
