The dose for the Enroflocaxin would be.

8.25 pounds / 2.2 x 15 / 100 = 0.56ml twice daily

The dose for Carprofen is 2mg/kg Orally (PO) every 8-24 hours.

Let me figure out the Carprofen dose for you tomorrow, long day, my brains fried.

Is it 1/4 tab of Carprofen 25mg?

I am terrible at math, so this is what I could come up with. Don't laugh if I'm far off, hahaha

She needs around 7.5 mg of Carprofen. ( 3.75kg x 2mg)

So take one 25mg tablet, crush it finely, and mix in 10ml water. You will be left a solution that contains 2.5mg of Carpofen per liquid ML, and she needs around 7.5mg so.

3ml every eight hours or once a day.

See, I was kinda close, but nope. Thank you so much. I was really worried about giving her that tiny piece of tablet. With her airway being where it is, I couldn't just drop the tablet in, so this makes me feel so much better about giving it to her. I can't thank you enough

For some reason over the past day and a half, I was only giving her 0.33ml of Enrofloxacin until tonight I decided it'd be a good idea to weigh her and just check the dosage. I guess I got mixed up somehow because my rooster is also getting 0.33ml's for a fighting injury. Since her dosage was so far from what it's supposed to be, do I still need to count the last day and a half? I can only give Enrofloxacin for 5 days, right? I hate that she wasn't getting enough. The odor was probably gone because so much of the pus was removed.

I was giving her Enrofloxacin for probably 2 weeks a few months ago, but I've recently learned that was a bad idea. I believe the bottle says 5 days

I would still only treat her for the five days, personally, Baytril is a very strong antibiotic, and when used more often, or longer than wanted, you're promoting a good environment for a yeast infection since there is no "good bacteria" to keep it in check.

So finish the rest of the Enrofloxacin treatment at, 8.25 pounds / 2.2 x 15 / 100 = 0.56ml twice daily, in addition, the Carprofen at, " One 25mg tablet, crush it finely, and mix well in 10ml water. You will be left a solution that contains 2.5mg of Carpofen per liquid ML, and she needs around 7.5mg so = 3ml every eight or twenty-four hours.

The Carprofen should help a lot with any pain, and inflammation that might be going on.

Note any side effects after taking the Carprofen. ( Vomiting, Seizures, Decreased Activity Levels, Lack of Appetite, etc)
