Different colored eyes

Hi everyone! Just curious if anyone knew why or if this was commen. My Daisy girl - Rouen- has on both eyes, half blue, half brown. It's beautiful! Never seen it on any other ducks. Just curious! Thanks! I'll put up a close up of her eyes once I can get her still. Her new friends in the pool

Had to edit/brighten photo since I took this picture in the shade. In the sun they are that blue!

Daisy is cute! I've seen pictures of other pets with eyes like this, but I've never seen it in a duck. So I guess it's quite special.

Thanks for the response! That's what I was thinking too. My dog has one brown, one blue, and I've seen other animals with it. But I noticed she originally had all silver/blue eyes, once she matured only half and the other just a tiny bit at the top turned brown.

She actually doesn't mind the ducklings! She didn't hesitate to just get right in the kiddies pool to play too!

I cant wait until they are full grown!
