different colors

is it possible for a hen to lay eggs a different color each day?

well i have free range birds and i have found 2 clutches of eggs, both had whitish eggs and then brown eggs and finally a blue looking eggs, sounds weird i know, then i seen a hen lay in a specific place last night and it was brown i check the spot today and its blueish.

They like to lay in the same nests or nest boxes

i was thinking it wasnt possible but i wasn't just quite sure.

Marans eggs get darker and lighter in their cycle. Right at the beginning they are the darkest. (At least that is the way mine are they are hatchery stock) And my EE's are the same. At the beginning they will be a brighter prettier blue but by the end of her cycle they will be a dull green.

ETA:
I forgot, there is a thread on here somewhere that shows a pic of an egg they are two totally different colors and they came from the same hen.

If I find it I will post the link.
