different developement??

I was looking at the sticky with pics of the eggs everyday of incubation. Why do they look SOOOOOO different than mine? Mine are at day 5 and I see nothing! Most of mine dont look anything like the stickies until like day 15! Can some just develop slower?

I am sorry, but my experience when you see nothing at day 5 means that they were infertile. You might a little while longer to see, but I always see little spider veins by day 3 if they are good. Good luck!

What you can see is going to depend on the specific eggs you have and the light you are using to candle. Day 5 is early in the process, way too early for many people to be able to determine if they are growing or not. I only do my first serious candling at day 10 for this reason. I don't think that they are developing slower if you can't see them, I think you could have darker eggs or a dimmer light. Just keep an eye on the temps and humidity and have a little patience.
