I have some Buff Orpingtons, 2 Americaunas and 2Rhode Island Reds. I got them at the same time and at the same age, yet the Rhode Island Reds seem to be smaller than the otheres They are about 5 weeks old now. Is this normal? I thought RIRs were a heavy breed like the Orpingtons.[IMG]

In general, RIRs are smaller than Orpingtons. There may be exceptions, but Orps are supposed to be very large hens and roos.
