Different Hens--Different Taste

What surprised me is how much better brownies taste with rich, delicious eggs! Had to make a second batch to make sure I wasn't imagining it.

I've heard, and I have no idea if there's any truth to this, that Marans were bred by the French to have the richest tasting eggs possible. I've had them and didn't notice a difference, but I suppose it could be true?
