That is kinda my plan, I am just thinking of the layout when all is done. I have ducks already, and they are GREAT!!

Im not planning on jumping in all at once, but hope to have what I want by NEXT winter.

Thanks for the 'calm down' post.

well your peafowl will need the most room, you could run pheasant and guineas with them, but you risk the peafowl getting disease from them, not as bad as chickens, will need lots of room. Peafowl will kill the quail, turkey have kill my peacock.

A peacock and a few peahens need 10 ft by 30 ft 6ft high

I know how you feel, just take it slow. Not to many at a time.

Quail take far less room, stay away from green or high % spalding peafowl, they dont mix well with other birds.

So the Without the quail, the Peafowl and Pheasants can go together. I think I will keep the turkeys and guineas together, (but seperate from the peacock/pheasant pen)

Does that sound safer?

I think Soccermom nailed it....

Yes that sounds safer. Unless your pen is HUGE, you not only risk issues, but the animals won't behave naturally and you might miss out on a lot of the fun stuff by not seperating them.

UPDATE!! Im gonna go for it!! I have my parents approval too!! (They signed this contract I made. lol )

When you mix different breeds together in a large pen, how do you feed them. I was thinking of adding 1 roo and 3 penedensca hens in with my 10 chukars. The chickens need layer mash, but the chukar don't so how would I manage this.

You should not keep gamebirds(chukars, pheasants, peafowl, quail, turkeys) with chickens or even near them.Chickens carry diseases that they can handle but over time will kill gamebirds.Gamebirds should be fed a gamebird feed which contains small amounts of meds to control blackhead.
