Since I know I got it right, I'll take the liberty of posting the next puzzle.
Three men sat down to play
They played all night 'til break of day
They played for gold, and not for fun
With separate scores for everyone.
Can you the paradox explain
If no man lost, how all could gain?
 
Hm... it ended in a draw? Or, perhaps the golden light of the sun -- they kept themselves awake all night by playing so that they could see the golden sunrise? I feel like that isn't right, though....
I will need to mull over this....

They weren't all playing against each other, they were all playing individual games
