Difficulty Laying Eggs?

I have a Red of some variety. She goes into the laying box and is there for a minimum of 20 hours most times. I am trying to figure out what is wrong because she is holding up the laying box for the others. I just feel like this is not normal. I am going to try a binding technique with warm water, but does anyone have any other ideas?

It sounds as if she may be broody?
