Need some help. I have a two year old RI Red, typically active and vocal. Since last evening she has been moving slow, quiet, sparsely eating/drinking and I know something is not right. I noticed when she did nibble on some soft food, she acted like it was maybe hard to swallow for lack of a better description. I checked her a bit for egg binding and don't feel or see anything, although I chose to give her the warm bath treatment this morning. She tolerated that well, but is still acting the same. I have separated her from my other 13 birds. Any ideas.

No mucous or other outwardly physical things visible at this time. Please weigh in if you have had this experience or know what it could be. I am researching the internet and may just head to the vet.

I would look into her throat with a flashlight for any unusual yellow or gray patches, a piece of stuck food, or a foreign object. Feel of her crop to note if it is full and hard, full and balloon-like, or empty. Some birds can have a slow or paralyzed crop due to other reasons than a crop problem. There can be blockages farther down into the proventriculus or gizzard, and worms can also cause problems. Here are a couple of articles to read about crop problems:
