My girls don't seem to mind the snow much either. Here's a pic I took today of them going from the big coop, past the little coop, heading for the only place on the property where there's bare ground - underneath the trampoline! They hung out there for hours today til I finally went out and herded them back in. Gotta love it.

My chickens will sit in the coop squawking until someone comes out to shovels them out. Even after they have their path shoveled they will not come out until it is lined with bedding, then the slowly walk out complaining

Yesterday I shoveled a path from the coop to the trampoline, they were so happy to see grass and dirt,
that the girls wouldn't even look up for their pictures although Claude was giving me the eye............
