**Digging my way to the coop. GOT SNOW?**

well, in addition to the foot plus of snow we have right now, an ice storm hit Sunday night!

We've had to pen everyone inside until the ice is either knocked or melted off the netting. It's like a death trap out there now! oh and it's pretty darn COLD too! where is the freezing my butt of smilie when I need it?

Yeah, I am so ready for the snow to end. We got a new puppy this January and we've had to also shovel large areas for him to do his business and run around... This spring we're moving the old coop right near the house, and building a much bigger run (for MORE chickens than before, of course!!)
