Dill's Giant Atlantic pumpkin diary

It got down to 33°F on the thermometer above the garden. There is clearly frost on the north side. The escapees look bad and likely will be dead once the sun hits them.

There is ice on the fence where the water is hitting it.

Warmer temps are predicted for tomorrow.

Up to 37°F now.

The big pumpkins survived the frost?

My little mystery vine has put out several little “growths”. The chickens seem to scratch them off (or eat them) on free range days, but the vine starts new ones. I remembered to take my phone out this morning and got some pics before I let the chickens loose. I don’t think they look like zucchini. They seem to grow in a round shape.

Not zucchini. Might be a pumpkin or some other type of squash.
