Nice pumpkins! I've been watching along as you guys have been growing your pumpkins this year. And I was thinking about maybe trying to grow one next year. But I watched this video last night and it sure looks like a lot of work!

I understood most of what he did but there were a few things that puzzled me. Like when he brushes something onto the vine roots, which I guess is rooting hormone. And when he puts the plants into the ground he throws a few white packets of something into the planting holes. I have no idea what that was.

Without watching the video, I would guess mycorrhiza which is a fungus that helps greatly with plant roots.

It is approximately 26" long, 24" wide and 19" tall.
Traced it back to the source and it is indeed a Whopper.
