Dirt in eggs ??

Looks like small piece of dirt or something in the egg when i crack them open ??

I will get a pic the next time i see it ? Maybe its just a tiny blood spot.

Mine get those too sometimes. Looks like a speck of pepper? Just a tiny bloodspot. I pick 'em out.

Maybe it was a speck of dirt that was on your hands, the shell or already in the container that you cracked the egg into.
 
I thought maybe it was from my hand at first. But i cracked a few more same thing. Yes it almost looks like speck of pepper but little bigger
 
Are the eggs still safe too eat when this happens ? I have a rooster maybe he is causing this too happen ?
 
Yeah, they are safe to eat. Just do like journey11 said above and pick em out......

And pretend you never saw them....lol


I don't know if roosters breeding hens has any bearing on the bloodspots happening or not. I had wondered that in the past. Never have heard a definitive answer on that....what's everyone think on that theory?
