Dirty but feathers

One of my girls has a dirty butt, not gleet. I think its from sitting in the window of the coop when sleeping. My question is do I wash it or trim it with scissors?

Wash it and if it is cold outside, make sure she is completely dry before returning her to the coop.

Is the "dirt" poop? I'd rather trim than wash, so much faster and reduces the amount of build up in days and weeks to come.

If you continue to get more build up after this, try trimming, I think you'll see a difference!

I vote trim over wash.
Washing is gross and won't solve the issue long term.

If it is from roosting on the window, block it off so she roosts on the roost.
