Dirty butt question

I spent all last summer cleaning dirty butts. They were clean from end Sept to end Jan and now they're dirty again. Not all of them, but several. They were all vaccinated by the hatchery. My question is, could dirty butts be a mild case of cocci? I don't see how, but I've wormed, dusted them all for mites, cleaned the coop and waterers/feeders, put a 2" layer of sand in the entire pen and do my best to keep things clean (can't do much with all this rain, but I try). What in the world can be causing this chronic dirty butt? I had a fecal done last fall and there were tapeworms, I successfully treated (even tho you never get 100% clear of parasites), everyone got the correct dose by weight and again in 7 days, then again in another 7 days. I'm at a loss. Maybe just wash and trim the feathers and keep them trimmed? The poop boards don't show messy poops except the periodic intestinal lining ones. My coop is 8 X 12 for 9 hens and 1 roo, the chicken yard is probably 50' x 50', so should be plenty big.

I have one chicken who looks pretty scroungy. Everyone else went through the molting. She lost a few feathers from the roos spurs that have never grown back and she always has poopy butt. I have never wormed them. Wouldn’t now where to began. What should I do?

Who does the fecal test. I feed regular layer pallets and scratch for treats. And fruits. Where can I get a dewormer and do I put it in food water?

Local vet might be able to do one.
Cut out the fruit and see if dirty butt clears up.
Would be good to start a new thread here and give more details.

I'm feeding layer pellets and whatever vegetables we have leftover from our supper. Hardly any fruit, maybe a grape now and then, and the veggies are only maybe a tablespoon or so every few days so I think that's negligible. They scratch around in their pen mostly and I let them out in the 3 ac yard when I'm home, so bugs, seeds, that sort of thing. I had the vet do the fecal last summer and he doesn't tell you what he sees, just that he sees worms. I actually saw tape segments, moving, and treated aggressively. I'm not inclined to go back to that vet for another fecal, but will see if I can get a different one to take a look. It's definitely not mud, just around the vent/backside. I don't smell anything to indicate gleet but, at this point, I'm ready to treat for anything just in case. I don't want another summer with this messy butt thing, I'm afraid to risk fly strike in this hot humid Alabama summer. They stay dry even in this rain because I've put down so much sand and have covered areas for them to hang out in. I'll see if I can't take a few pictures. I've got lots of people at my house lately (mid-move place to stay until house is ready) and don't have much time for what I need to do, so maybe this weekend. Thanks.
