Dirty eggs - what do I do???

Awwww. Congratulations. They look so cute.
they are just gorgeous! it's so enjoyable watching them playing together, and learning the basics of chicken life from the mother hen. I want to thank everyone who offered advise, suggestions and reassurance - it's been a surprisingly nerve-wracking experience!! does anyone have ideas as to what colours the chicks will turn out? I'm hoping the ginger-coloured one might be a buff.

They are adorable! My favorite part about hatching with a broody hen is watching her show the chicks how to be chickens, anything that mother pecks, they have to peck. But if the eggs are expensive, I hatch in an incubator because as you saw, hens are not very gentle with their eggs. Congradulations on the little ones!
