My daughter was very sad about those caged chickens. She also cried at supper last night because we had a whole roasted chicken. Tears streaming down her face. "Poor chicken" What a heart of gold. I explained to her that the chicken I fixed is a meat bird and the have to be processed and reasurred her that our hens are laying birds.

She just loves animals. We found a dead robin in our sandbox and she got upset about that.

I fell asleep and it sounds like I would have cried through it anyway...My hubby said that's why he didn't bother to wake me, he didn't want to see me watch it with tears coming down the whole time...lol

I think it was a fake egg... otherwise the yolk would have splattered everywhere...
