Dirty shipped eggs arrived. What to do?

Thanks so much everyone. They have been washed in warm water 105 degrees. Then sanitized in a diluted bleach bowl also 105 degrees. Let air dry and now set into incubator. I only sanitized half then changed my mind and did them all. Decisions, decisions... lol. I just could not put them in there that dirty with my other clean eggs.

Here they are set and will report back at 10 days and see how they are maturing.

Pretty!

Have you used that turner before? They sent me one and I hated the thing, ended up exchanging it for a regular yellow upright. I see you found the new plastic floor grids they're making now, those I love!

First time using that one. I also have some eggs in this one to try out. A cheaper incubator I bought on ebay. Been running both incubators for the last week playing with water trays and humidity levels to get them just rights.

My policy is the less bacteria in my incubators, the better. I don't use broody hens. If I did, I wouldn't wash their eggs. That's the only time my incubator has seen dirty eggs, when my friend took them from broodies and wanted me to hatch them. Looking back, I wish I had washed and sanitized even those, I came uncomfortably close to having a few explosions and the only thing preventing it was looking closely at them ever single day to see which ones weeped. Never again.
That's just it, I DO NOT want any issues with the dirty eggs that are in with my other clean eggs. All clean now and the count down begins...
Also have one egg that is a double yolk so perhaps a twin... Or perhaps at 10 days nothing. Keep close eye on that one.

I like the idea of the flat roller, it just seemed like eggs were more likely to go askew rather than really roll. Some love them though *shrug*

Keep a close eye on that plastic incubator, they can be fire hazards. Unless it's a true Janoel brand and not a knockoff.

Will do! Like I said I have been running it for a week prior to setting eggs. So I do have a pretty handle on what I need to do to get the right humidity at 18 days. Also been keeping close eye on turner as Ive read some people had issues with them not turning.
Also have a second temp/humidity gauge for it and so far, it is very accurate! The humidity gauge in the Styrofoam one is off by 4% though so that one Im using a 3rd for. No messing around.

Edited to add... I am also now taking picts of the eggs in the Styrofoam one every few hours to make sure the eggs actually turn since you said that could be a possible issue. Don't want them just sliding on the floor. Thanks for the tip!

I always try to mention watching the turner because I had a rather new one fail on me and didn't notice and lost almost the entire hatch because of it. Not the flat one, one of the upright yellow GQF ones. Second or third time I used it, it wasn't turning. And since I looked at them the same time every day, it seemed normal that it would be in the same position. So I try to check a couple times a day when I know it should be tilted the other way, just to be sure. And I have a spare. The good thing is, the motors for the GQF ones are only like $13 and not very hard to change, and Incubator Warehouse was kind enough to send me one for free since it happened so soon.
