The water was extra nasty this morning, cloudy looking in the pen where I have my 16 wk red stars. I dumped it to change it, and there was yellow in the bottom, checked it out, sure looked like yolk. I looked where I had dumped the water and there was a torn soft eggshell and some membrane. Guess its time to change to layer pellets and get those nest boxes built.
