Dirty White Muscovy Duck

I have an older duck who regularly has poor feather quality. Her vet told me to add ground flax to her food. I'm not sure it helped my duck, but maybe it will help yours.

My two older girls atleast 3 years look similar feather wise at the end of the season, I believe neither were around water to bath in prior to me getting them so they very very very rarely get in the water but will stand at the side of the water and flick water onto themselves with their heads and flap their wings against the ground, resulting in damage to their wing feathers. Once they finish molting they look beautiful again for a while lol. And their feathers do feel crunchy. Also muscovies don't feel like other birds in my experience the feathers are very stiff.

I don't know if this is what's up with your girl or not but thought I'd share, also mine don't finish molting till October/November.
